Bold, spiral-marked figures in acrylic — five years in the making, from an artist who paints, draws, and performs. Donate $25 or more to help send Clair on a school trip to New York City, and you're entered into a drawing for an original painting or a commissioned piece of your choosing. Three winners.
Why New York
“I’m a sophomore and I’m heading to New York City. Going on this trip will provide so many wonderful opportunities for me and my future, and I’d love to tour the city I plan on attending college in. It’s been my dream for a long time to get a full look at the theatre scene in NYC, so this trip means a lot to me. Please consider donating to my future.”
— Clair Moon
The other half of the practice. Clair performs in school productions — the same eye for character, carried off the canvas. This is what the trip to New York is about.
Every dollar raised goes toward Clair's school trip to New York. As a thank-you, every donation of $25 or more enters you into a drawing. Three winners will be selected — each one takes home an original Clair Moon painting, or can request a commissioned piece made just for them.
Give any amount of $25 or more through the donation page. Every qualifying donation is one entry.
Your name goes into the drawing automatically — nothing else to fill out.
Winners pick an available original from the gallery, or request a custom commissioned painting. Clair's work has sold for as much as $600 at gallery shows.
Donations are handled on the official fundraiser page, where the running total is tracked. Thank you for helping send Clair to New York.
Winners will be contacted using the details provided with their donation. Paintings shown in the gallery are representative of Clair's work; availability of a specific piece may vary. Commissioned pieces are arranged directly with the artist.

Clair Moon has been painting for more than five years — figures, faces caught mid-feeling, bodies drawn in heavy color, and the spiral that keeps turning up where a mind should be. The work runs from small studies on four-inch canvases to full gallery pieces, in acrylic, ink, and pencil.
These paintings have been featured in galleries many times over, and Clair has mounted a solo show — an entire exhibition of this work alone.
The canvas is only part of it. Clair paints, draws, and performs — the same eye for character and feeling, carried from the canvas to the stage.
That is what makes this trip matter: a sophomore school trip to New York City, to take in the theatre scene and tour the city Clair hopes to attend college in. Every donation helps make it happen.
